Entrepreneurs Get Ready For Entrepreneurship Week 721, International Speakers To Empower Students And Entrepreneurs In November

Great Bay, St. Maarten – Inspired by the Global Entrepreneurship Week, INFOBIZZ is hosting its very first Entrepreneurship Week 721 from November 16-21, 2015.

This week is aimed at helping entrepreneurs to reach new levels of success in their businesses and lives. International entrepreneurs from the US, Canada, and The Netherlands will be on St. Maarten sharing dynamic cutting-edge information to transform businesses alongside local experts.

INFOBIZZ is specifically designed at developing successful entrepreneurs and has reached approximately 700 entrepreneurs in the past 2 years predominantly through it premier networking activity, the POWER HOUR.

This year alone, speakers at the POWER HOUR include Mr. Robert Judd, country manager of First Caribbean International Bank, Mrs. Vincentia Rosen, director of the Bureau for Intellectual Property, Mr. Imran Amjad, chairman of NAGICO Group, and most recently, Mr. Jean Arnell, co-founder and managing partner of COMPUTECH. Each POWER HOUR allows entrepreneurs, leaders, and innovators to gain tools from experts and notably successful entrepreneurs. Also, it creates a dynamic platform for participants to network and meet like-minded people.

During November 16-21, INFOBIZZ coordinated a variety of activities for those who are serious their success. Entrepreneurship Week 721, has three main components, which are 1) Community Outreach Program, 2) Women’s Entrepreneurship Day, and 3) iDOMINATE 360 Experience.

INFOBIZZ is active in with a few of the secondary schools on the island as part of its community outreach program. Last year, during the Global Entrepreneurship Week, INFOBIZZ and international serial entrepreneurs, Dr. Will Moreland from the US and Kenton Lord from Trinidad, reached close to 200 students at St. Maarten Academy PSVE and at NIPA.

This year INFOBIZZ has added two more schools to its program, included two more international entrepreneurs, and is scheduled to reach double the number of students it did last year. The Community Outreach Program, which will take place from November 16-19, allows the international entrepreneurs to directly give back to the youth. These youth rarely get an opportunity to hear the challenges and success stories of these international entrepreneurs. The schools chosen are all vocational schools which have a unique challenge in motivating and inspiring many of their students, which is what the entrepreneurs do in this program.

In 2014, November 19 was declared Women’s Entrepreneurship Day (WED) by the United Nations. The WED Foundation, which serves 140 countries, has launched a global movement aimed at supporting, empowering, and celebrating women entrepreneurs while inspiring girls to gain financial freedom. WED Ambassadors all over the world, will host simultaneous events on November 19 as a key part of enriching the local communities.

St. Maarten is a part of this global movement, under the leadership of its ambassador, Ife Badejo. To launch WED St. Maarten, there will be an awards ceremony recognize some of the islands most dynamic women entrepreneurs. Also, WED’s Youth Ambassador for St. Maarten will be announced on this evening. This awards ceremony will take place at Blue Mall on November 19, which will start at 7 pm sharp and doors open at 6:00 pm. Tickets can be purchased for this gender inclusive event and are available for $40, including door prizes, finger foods and refreshments. At the door, tickets are available for $50.

For entrepreneurs, who are serious about their business, iDOMINATE 360 is a two –day experience carefully crafted to support them. From November 20-21, entrepreneurs and entrepreneurial professionals can expect innovative and revolutionary trainings and seminars that, if implemented, will transform their business.

International entrepreneurs include: Dr. Will, the #1 Leadership Life Trainer in the US and recently featured in Forbes Magazine; Dr. Vernet Joseph, known as Mr. Productivity, he is America’s #1 P3 Strategist and Consultant; Drs. Monika de Waal, one of Europe’s leading organizational behavior specialist and business coach for KvK Coachpool in the Netherlands; and Shereen Ashman, a serial entrepreneur and creator who is the entrepreneur in residence at Community Empowering Enterprises in Toronto, Canada.

This event is already attracting participants from the neighboring islands, Canada and the US. This provides also an opportunity for locally based entrepreneurs and professionals to connect with others in an international context without having to travel abroad. Registration is required.
