Unbiased look at the Sint Maarten Elections
PHILIPSBURG:--- JCI LIVE Soualiga presented its first event for the year of 2016.The Voice of The Nation’ was kick off with a Panel discussion with various Political Parties on Sint.Maarten. The topic discussed was Poverty and Social Effects, it was based on how we can solve the problems in our communities.This sustainable project goal is to help find solutions and strategies in how we can help solve the social and critical issues that affecting our communities.This event took place at the University of St. Maarten on the 23rd January 2016 at 7pm. The different Parties Representatives were S.M.C.P which was represented by Mr. Wycliffe Smith, O.S.S.P represented by Mr.Lenny Priest, NA represented by MP George Pantophlet, S.M.D represented by Mr. Ortega Benjamin, U.P represented by Mr. Stewart Johnson and H.O.P.E represented by Mrs. Mercedes Wyatt. People from the different communities came out and give their opinions and share ideas and also asked questions during the event.Each Panellist was given an equal platform to share their party’s goals and the best for our country Sint.Maarten now and beyond if given the opportunity to representative the people and also what they working on to ensure development on the island as members of parliament.
