Unbiased look at the Sint Maarten Elections
PHILIPSBURG, St. Maarten - Over 200 persons turned out for the march which was organized by Citizens for true Democracy on Sunday afternoon.
The march was in protest against, among other things, the instruction given to the Governor regarding the screening of Ministers and Prime Minister.
One of the persons organizing the protest was Elton Jones.
Whilst addressing the gathering he expressed his dissatisfaction with the measure as is being proposed to the Governor of St. Maarten.
Meanwhile one of the persons who was present for the march on Sunday was Member of Parliament of the United Peoples Party, the Honorable Franklin Meyers.
He too was very critical of the instruction given to the Governor. The comments of Elton Jones and MP Meyers can now be heard via PodCast.
