Unbiased look at the Sint Maarten Elections
BELVEDERE, Sint Maarten The Honorable Minister of Education, Culture, Youth and Sports drs. Rodolphe Samuel delivered the first pitch in game two on Saturday, February 20, 2021 on the Belvedere Ball Park between 721 Elite and Hammer in the Pelican League baseball championship series.
721 Elite won against Hammer 6-4.
This game was the second game in the Pelican League Championship series.
The series officially pitched off on Friday, February 19, 2021 at the Erwin Baco Richardson Little League Stadium, where the 721 Elite faced the Young Blue Jays team.
721 Elite hammered the Young Blue Jays by score of 12-2.
On Sunday, February 21 the games continued at the Belvedere Ball Field with The Hammers facing off against the Young Blue Jays. At the end of the encounter, the Hammers clobbered the Young Blue Jays. The final score, 8 -5.
The Pelican Baseball League was established this year.
There are four teams doing battle for the championships trophy in the series.
The League is being assisted by Dimar Labega, President of Monster Factory Foundation.
The vision is to have more teams participate and we encourage the community to get involved with assisting the league and its young players, he urged.
