It's Time Sxm Foundation Partners With The Emancipation Female Softball Committee To Organize The 10-10-10 Edition Softball Knockout Tournament.

PHILIPSBURG:--- It's Time SXM Foundation and The Emancipation Female Softball Committee proudly present, the highly-anticipated Emancipation Female Softball Knockout Tournament, the "10-10-10 Edition." Starting this Friday, October 7th until Monday, October 10th, 2022, at the Erwin Baco Little League Stadium, this Tournament is back by popular demand, with a community-centric twist.

Teams will be competing in honor of several charitable organizations, which include the following:

Female teams and sponsored organizations:
Sparks - Helping Hands Foundation
Survivors - Animal Defenders
Scorpions - Freegan Foods
Spinnerz - New Start Foster Home

The competing male teams and their respective sponsored organizations include:
Illegales - Swinda Abram bka 'Ma'
Sluggers - White and Yellow Cross Foundation
Controllers - Vitilgo Educate Inspire & Support SXM (VEISS)
Super Stars -The Home away from Home Foundation
Babylon - The Foundation Judicial Institutes St. Maarten
Bombers - Meals on Wheels Foundation

These four (4) local St. Maarten female and six (6) male softball teams will be contending for prizes on behalf of the sponsored foundations, as listed above. The prizes to be won include $1,000 for the female and male champions, $400 for the sub champions and $200 for each of the remaining participating teams.

"Due to the great community support, It's Time SXM Foundation and the Emancipation Female Softball Knockout Committee are, once again, working together to build on the success of the previous Tournament and organize yet another exciting Softball Tournament. Our goal is to galvanize supporters in an uplifting manner that allows everyone to benefit from the great sportsmanship exhibited at the event. Through our collaborative effort, the impact extends much further beyond the Tournament to benefit the respective organizations that are doing amazing work throughout the community, " shares Cloyd Ohndhae Marlin, President, It's Time SXM Foundation.

This is achieved by the great spirit of comradery shown among all teams and players, the support of fans and sports enthusiasts, as well as, the wonderful opportunity to contribute towards the essential work and meaningful causes by the various participating organizations and their stakeholders.

The community is invited to come out and support the teams, athletes and the Foundations that they will be representing at this spectacular Tournament.

A complete weekend line-up of Tournament games are scheduled to start as follows:
Friday, October 7th - 6:30 PM.
Saturday, October 8th - 3:00 PM, with the Official Opening Ceremony at 7:30 PM.
Sunday, October 9th - 1:30 PM.
Monday, October 10th - 1:30 PM.

The Emancipation Female Softball Knockout Tournament, the "10-10-10 Edition," will be a fun community affair. With the opening St. Maarten song by Benjamin Bell and non-stop musical entertainment by DJ Toolz, the Little League Stadium will come alive with great vibes that the entire community can join together and enjoy in a safe and family-friendly environment. A variety of food and drinks will be on sale. All proceeds will be donated to the participating organizations.
