Ninety Teachers Attend Digikidz Conference

St. Maarten News – Approximate ninety educators from Seventh Day Adventist and both Hillside Schools, Asha Stevens and Helmich Snijders Campuses, came together last week Thursday for a day-long DigiKidz conference, organized by Foresee Foundation, the executor of the DigiKidz project in collaboration with the tech teams, management and school boards of all three schools.

The theme of the day was “the way forward” assisting schools in how to further develop the integration of ICT and Technology in its schools and classrooms.

Hillside Pupils Reap Produce From Agricultural Project

CAY HILL--Radish (red beets), parsley and baby carrots were amongst the produce that pupils from the Asha Stevens Hillside School’s Community School programme reaped from the school’s gardening project in March.

Lions Club Hosts Student Excellence Awards 2016

SUCKER GARDEN – For the eighth consecutive year, the St. Maarten Lions Club honored young students of cycle 2 group 4 at the club’s annual Student Excellence Awards ceremony.

This year the title sponsor was N.V. GEBE as they have been the sponsor for the past three years. The St. Maarten Lions Club thanked the utility company for their valuable contributions.
