Unbiased look at the Sint Maarten Elections
PHILIPSBURG, St. Maarten - The plenary session which was scheduled for Monday afternoon regarding developments at NV GEBE has been postponed until further notice.
The meeting was at the request of Members of Parliament of the National Alliance, namely William Marlin, Silveria Jacobs, George Pantophlet and Christopher Emanuel.
The reason for the postponement is that the Acting Minister of VROMI, the Honorable Marcel Gumbs needs additional time to gather all relevant information and documents as requested in the initial session on Friday June 26th.
Meanwhile, during the meeting on Friday, leader of the National Alliance and Member of Parliament, the Honorable William Marlin had a barrage of questions for the Prime Minister regarding developments at GEBE between the supervisory board and the Chief Operations Officer of the company, Romelio Maduro.
