Unbiased look at the Sint Maarten Elections
The Hague, Netherlands:---Students of the faculty of Tourism and Hospitality at the University of Sint Maarten (USM), during an orientation visit to the Netherlands, paid a courtesy call the Cabinet of the Minister Plenipotentiary in The Hague. They were welcomed by the Deputy Minister Plenipotentiary, H.E. Mr. Hasani Ellis. The Deputy Minister after introducing himself and the staff of the Cabinet addressed the students briefly by providing useful information on the best practices he experienced, both while studying in the Netherlands and now in his tenure as Deputy Minister Plenipotentiary. The students were then given the opportunity to pose questions. As some of the students present are expected to return to the Netherlands in of order to further their studies, the questions centered mainly around the living and study environment in The Netherlands, and what they can expect when moving there. In his closing remarks, the Deputy Minister challenged the students to pay keen attention to the changing innovations in the fields of Hospitality and Tourism and to capitalize on these experiences by taking them back to Sint Maarten and transform the ideas into an enhanced Sint Maarten tourism product.
