Unbiased look at the Sint Maarten Elections
~ Institution closed on Thursday.~
PHILIPSBURG:--- Learning Unlimited in a letter address to parents stated that their institution will remain close on Thursday because the well being of their students was compromised by the irresponsible Minister of VSA Richard Panneflek and police officers.
Daunesh Alcott said that government officials tried to close the school without invoking proper legal grounds and following correct procedures. Further to that police officers have intimidated staff, parents and their students while preventing them from exercising their right to education
Alcot further explained that LU has filed an injunction which will be heard on Thursday afternoon, thus the school will remain close until they receive injunctive relief.
