PHILIPSBURG:--- Workers of TELEM Group of Companies downed their tools this morning after receiving a letter from Chief Executive Officer Kendall Dupersoy regarding the cost-cutting measures as laid down in the draft legislation that was passed in parliament some weeks ago.Representatives of the St. Maarten Telecommunication Union (SMCU) said their workers are not in favor of the planned cuts and as such have decided to start a protest action.The content of the letter sent by Dupersoy:
