Unbiased look at the Sint Maarten Elections
Dear Editor,
As a student studying abroad I think it’s really difficult to cope with so much. I really wish that St. Maarten can invest in their Education System. This implementation would highly benefit government in its expenditures, to save much more. If the USM can just expand their study options, most students would not have to go away. This will highly increase the flow of income prior to not only depending on tourism, but also the GDP, the island will produce for itself. Please provide more options.
The most challenging phases of any individual studying abroad are:
* Dealing with racism
* A sense of rejection by class members
These are all the challenges some of us have to encounter, it’s a part of self-development and becoming aware of what to expect from others who are not like you. It’s also letting people who are back home aware of how it’s like on the outside world. I might be depressed at the given moment, but it does not stop me from thriving for success. It’s just difficult out here and some people will never know why when students go abroad why they return home without a degree. The world has to know, the world also has to know even though its de-motivating, I would not give up it’s not an option.
