PHILIPSBURG:---Utility company NV GEBE is currently battling yet another virus attempt on its system. According to sources, the management of GEBE has been dealing with the attack since Monday morning but has not formally informed its employees, similar to when the ransomware virus attacked its system back in March of this year. Prime Minister Silveria Jacobs public relations officer stated on Monday afternoon to questions about the incident, The Prime Minister can neither confirm nor deny the claims, as she is awaiting updates on the matter. GEBE closed its doors temporarily on March 17, due to a cyberattack caused by the Black Byte ransomware, which impacted the companys computer systems.GEBE Temporary Manager Troy Washington has been contacted numerous times on Monday but has not responded to calls about the attack.
