PHILIPSBURG:--- The Haitian Association of St. Maarten (HASMA) is pleased to announce the launch of English and computer classes to help the Haitian community better integrate into society. This initiative has been in the works for a while, and HAsma is delighted to finally offer these classes to those who are interested in furthering their education.Education plays a vital role in empowering individuals and building strong communities. HAsma recognizes that language and digital literacy are essential tools for success in today's society, and that's why it's important to provide access to these classes. The English and computer courses will help Haitian immigrants improve their communication skills and expand their knowledge of technology, enabling them to participate more in the economic and social fabric of St. Maarten.HASMA is committed to providing educational opportunities to the Haitian community in St. Maarten. The association is also working on other classes and seminars, including literacy classes and classes on entrepreneurship, seminars, on Taxes, immigration, and community and social engagement and responsibility to help individuals build skills and knowledge that will benefit them in their personal and professional lives."We believe that education is a fundamental right, and everyone deserves the opportunity to learn and grow," said HASMA Vice-President, Fabio Doralice . "Our goal is to empower the Haitian community in St. Maarten by providing them with the tools they need to succeed. We are excited to launch these classes and look forward to seeing the positive impact they will have on our community."The classes will be held at Wifold Building in Philipsburg and will be open to all members of the community who are interested in furthering their education. English classes are Mondays & Wednesdays from 5:30 to 7 PM Computer classes are Every Tuesday & Thursday from 5:30 to 7 PM.
