The leader of the NA said the community has been taken for granted for too long and its time to put them first and focus on what really matters.
"The National Alliance has always been about putting the people of St. Maarten first and about addressing the issues that are important for the elevation of our people," Leader of the National Alliance party William Marlin said in a press release on Thursday.
He said NA had heard the cries of the people and listened and understood their concerns during the recent contact meetings held in the various districts. With all the questionable matters surrounding some in this election, the National Alliance is happy to be able to offer the people of St. Maarten a real alternative and a party with positive track record and a clear vision to run the country and address the pressing issues affecting our people.
He said NA's slate of 23 candidates, a combination of experience and young motivated professionals will be speaking directly to the population at the meeting.
