>PHILIPSBURG:---- In connection with the upcoming Junior and Grand Parade scheduled for Thursday April 30th, the Police Department is making the following announcement:
The gathering point for the Grand Parade is at the entrance of Sint Johns Estate on the L.B. Scot road. The gathering time is at 10.00 a.m.
Front Street including all streets and alleys leading to this street will be closed on that day from 07.00 a.m.
At 09.00 a.m. L.B. Scot road will be closed at Gladiola road. No traffic allowed towards Sint Peters area. L.B. Scot road closed at Arbutus road. No traffic towards Churchill round-a-bout.
At 09.30 a.m. Gladiola road closed at Coralita road. No traffic allowed in the direction of L.B. Scot road. L.B.Scot road closed of at Churchill round-a-bout. No traffic allowed in the direction of Sint Peters.
At 10.15 a.m. A.J.C. Brouwers road closed off at Welgelegen road. No traffic allowed in the direction of Churchill round-a-bout. Bush road closed off at Zagersgut road. No traffic allowed in the direction of Churchill round-a-bout.
At 10.40 a.m. Zagersgut road closed off at Bush road. No traffic allowed in the direction of Bush road. Prins Bernard brug closed. No traffic allowed in the direction of Bush road.
At 11.20 a.m. A.Th Illidge road and the Long wall road will be closed at the Prins Bernard brug. No traffic allowed in the direction of the W.A. Nisbeth road. W.A. Nisbeth road closed off at W. Percy Labega Street. No traffic allowed in the direction of Prins Bernard Brug.
At 12.00 p.m. Long wall road closed at W. Percy Labega Street. No traffic allowed in the direction of Kerkhof steeg.
Cannegieter Street closed at Manzanilla Steeg. No traffic allowed in the direction of Percy Labega Street.
Little Bay road closed at Fort Willem road. No traffic allowed in the direction of Kerkhof Steeg en Front Street.
Back street closed at Manzanilla Steeg. No traffic in the direction of Kerkhof Steeg.
At 04.00 p.m. Juancho Yrausquin Boulevard closed at Welvaart brug. No traffic in the direction of Buncamper road.
Buncamper road closed at Freedom Fighters round-a-bout. No traffic allowed in the direction of Juancho Yrausquin Boulevard.
At 04.20 p.m. Buncamper road closed at Freedom Fighters round-a-bout. No traffic allowed in the direction of W.A. Nisbeth road.
W.A. Nisbeth road closed at Salt Pickers round-a-bout. No traffic allowed in the direction of the Freedom Fighters round-a-bout.
W.A. Nisbeth road closed at Voges Street. No traffic allowed in the direction of W.A. Nisbeth road.
Soualiga Boulevard closed at Rock Salt drive. No traffic allowed in the direction of Salt Pickers round-a-bout.
D.A. Peterson Street closed at Salt Pickers round-a-bout. No traffic allowed in the direction of Salt Pickers round-a-bout.
At 04.30 p.m. W.A. Nisbeth road closed at Codville Webster road. No traffic allowed towards Salt Pickers round-a-bout.
After the parade the Salt Picker round-a-bout will be partially opened. Traffic will only be allowed in the directions of the Prins Bernard Brug and the Freedom Fighter round-a-bout until pedestrian traffic has diminished.

All residents of the Philipsburg area should take serious note of this information and all motel and hotel operators should inform their clients of these traffic measures. NO PARKING will be allowed on that day as of 07.00 a.m. Any vehicles parked in Front Street during this period will be towed at the owner's expense. After the parade has completely cleared Front Street it will again be opened for motor vehicles.
