Rotary Sunrise Inducts Ruminni Rogers Into Membership

PHILIPSBURG-Ruminni Rogers was inducted as the newest member of the Rotary Club of St. Maarten Sunrise on Tuesday, February 9.

Rogers is the son of Carlyle Rogers and Ramona Riley-Juan Pedro. He is a Police Officer, a talented Calypsonian, who captured the Junior Calypso crown in 2008, and has become the youngest member of the club.

Promotions And Farewell At St. Maarten Police Force

St. Maarten – Last Friday Inspectors Carlyle Rogers, Head of the Simpson Bay district and Ricardo Henson Head of the Public Relations and Communication Department received their promotion to the rank of Chief Inspector. Major Hensley Roumou who is a team leader at the Simpson Bay Police Station was promoted to the rank of Inspector.

Chief Commissioner Peter de Witte and acting chief carl John expressed in brief speeches their congratulations to all three officers and encouraged them to continue with the good work they are doing and to continue helping to build a better Sint Maarten Police Force, a “Five Star Police Force” that the community of Sint Maarten deserves.

Governor sent back two Advices --- more mistakes found in advices.
