Unbiased look at the Sint Maarten Elections
PHILIPSBURG, St. Maarten - Marriage, according to the civil code is a union between a man and a woman, stated leader of the St. Maarten Christian Party, Pastor Wycliffe Smith.
In responding to a question put to him during the programme “In the View†with Wendell Moore on Wednesday the leader of the SMCP noted that Holland cannot impose such a law on St. Maarten, and therefore, in the event that the law was to change, it will not garner his party’s support.
The SMCP is one of several political organizations contesting the upcoming September 26th parliamentary election this year.
