Sickle Cell Foundation Gets Government's Support

PHILIPSBURG, St. Maarten - The Sickle Cell Foundation held an information meeting on Tuesday night. One of the persons who have realized the importance of the foundation is the Honorable Minister of Health, Cornelius de Weever. Speaking at the weekly Council of Ministers press briefing this week, he noted that while government does not have the financial means to support the foundation due to budget cuts, they are willing to give their technical support and expertise.
