It goes without saying that the support of a community in uplifting the youth is a significant task which yields monumental results. When 15-year-old Learning Unlimited student Ki-Mani Olivacce set out on his benevolent endeavor to start a back-to-school drive for the less fortunate youth of St. Maarten, he never imagined the extent of the outpour of support he would receive. PHIIPSBURG:---- Fifteen-year-old Learning Unlimited student Ki-Mani Olivacce is calling on his community to contribute to a worthy cause as he kicks off a school supplies drive for students in need on St. Maarten. No quorum for budget amendment meeting

PHILIPSBURG--The public plenary session of Parliament on amendments to the 2014 budget was cancelled on Wednesday due to the lack of a quorum, as only seven Members of Parliament (MPs) were signed in.
Parliament Press Secretary Roddy Heyliger said in a press release last night that the session had been rescheduled to Friday at 10:00am.
