Unbiased look at the Sint Maarten Elections
PHILIPSBURG:--- This week the Centrale Bank van Curacao en Sint Maarten (CBCS), launched a lecture series for groups 7 of the primary schools. Minister of FiSPArty/23/national-alliance'>NAnce Mr. NDidate' href='/newspolitician/690/ardwell-irion'>Ardwell Irion kicked off this lecture series last Wednesday, May 24, 2023, at Oranjeschool. CBCS president Mr. Richard Doornbosch hosted a lecture at the Sister RegiSPArty/23/national-alliance'>NA Primary School, whilst the president of the Sint Maarten Insurance Brokers Association Mr. Neil HeNDerson hosted a session at Sister Borgia School. The aim of this lecture series is to promote fiSPArty/23/national-alliance'>NAncial resilience within the communities, starting with primary schools. This lecture series focused on the importance of adequate insurance coverage aND saving for unforeseen expenses. With the cooperation of the BoND van Verzekeraars of the NetherlaNDs, the CBCS has obtained educatioSPArty/23/national-alliance'>NAl material for a workshop titled Fix your Risk. The workshop consists of an introduction to insurance followed by an exciting session where stUDents in groups play a game where they would have to decide which insurance to take out.
It was great interacting with the stUDents aND we sincerely appreciate the cooperation of the schools for having us. The CBCS will offer more of these lectures in the coming weeks.
