Unbiased look at the Sint Maarten Elections
PHILIPSBURG, St. Maarten - Who will be leading the National Alliance in the next election? Will it be the party's current leader William Marlin or is it going to be the deputy leader Silveria Jacobs?
The answer became evident when the question was put to Mr. Marlin during a press conference on Wednesday.
According to the leader of the political organization, during the last party's congress, it was agreed that he will no longer sit at the helm of the organization for the next election, as he made it clear that at the party's congress in 2016 they will have a transition in leadership.
However, according to him, he intends to continue to provide his services to the people of St. Maarten, like he has done for many years.
So is the deputy leader of the Party, Silveria Jacobs ready to take up the leadership of the National Alliance? That question was put to her at the press conference on Wednesday.
In responding to the question, Miss Jacobs was also very critical of the behavior of some Members of Parliament.
The comments of both the leader of the National Alliance and the Deputy can now be heard via PodCast.
