PHILIPSBURG, Sint Maarten — Independent Member of Parliament Christophe Emmanuel on Sunday called on the government of St. Maarten to confirm or deny reports that the airport project is delayed and that operations currently inside the terminal will be moved back into tents.

Just last week the Prime Minister told the Parliament of St. Maarten that the shareholder instructed the SBOD to assign an independent temporary manager as well as a crisis management team.

Independent Investigation (Procure and conduct an independent investigation into the past few months.

While the St. Maarten government calls for unity, it is the biggest polarizer.

The MP notes with much concern that another week has gone by and there is no news about the Minister of TEATT and his return to office.
The minister disappeared from the public view without so much as a notice to the general public. And the Council of Ministers of Sint Maarten seems to have no issue with the situation. Yet, there are so many important matters pending at the Ministry of TEATT.
